I have a confession to make. Okay it’s not much of a confession but an understanding. I suck at writing intros! And with that being said I just jump to the first topic of todays round of catching up.
It’s the first of these posts in 4 weeks as frankly speaking the last weeks haven’t been fun at all. And I didn’t have to tell anything positive. So I just skipped it.
Now things are back to almost normal. It feels good to have my life back even though it’s Monday and I feel like I was flattened by a steamroller!
Not the best of all feelings after a three-day weekend and 5 days of work lying in front of you! But I’ll handle it. I always do ;-P
Last week my new program rotation started. On Monday evening we had the kick-off event and I had a fever. Not cool! Commencing Tuesday I had kick-off workshops with every group which will still take me this week. So at the moment I am telling the same things again and again and again! Some of the participants already managed to annoy the hell out of me. You see business as usual!
Due to my overfull schedule and me having a bronchitis (again) there was sadly not much working out!
Then it was Thursday and after my last workshop I jumped in the car, drove back home, got dressed, jumped on the train to Munich and only a little later sat at a Burger Grill with Stefan, his cousin and her boyfriend.
Of course I ordered the Bacon Barbecue Cheese Burger. I am not boring, I am only loyal!
Friday was our day at home. All in all I napped four times and I can say it was absolutely needed. In the evening we went to a Cocktail Bar in Munich to catch up with friends. It was good to see them as it has been already two month until our last get together.
On Saturday morning I got up early and went to a Crossfit competition where a team from my box competed. It was very cool to watch and we were a big group of 30 people to support the athletes. There was also a small “market place” where there were food stalls as well as stalls where brands sold their stuff. I got Stefan a new shaker/ bottle thing as his old one is a bit leaky.
The competition was over at 7 pm but instead of going home I went to a birthday party where I stayed until 1.30 pm. I was so thirsty that I drowned two liters of water at the party and had to get up and pee at night. Fail! I am clearly too old for the shite!
On Sunday we finally found some time to speak about the upcoming summer holidays. We booked the flights weeks ago but never talked about it again after. So we decided how long we want to stay at which place and also booked a hotel for Las Vegas. The room rates are thrice bigger than last year 😮 Uuuhm, why?
Then I scared the hell out of me when I forgot I applied a face mask and caught my reflection in a mirror! Scaaaaaary!
Later that day I went to Munich again to meet with two friends and catch up. I am not so much a girly person. I don’t have tons of female friends and with the ones I have I rarely do girl talk. But those two are the closest to this concept of “girlfriends”. Both wore nice shoes/ the one even heels, had nice hair and immaculate make-up. I didn’t! But funnily for the first time in my life I don’t care. I didn’t feel self-conscious or anything else. I felt comfortable. Maybe I finally grow up?
In the evening we went to a BBQ and had tons of yummy food. I love BBQs! All the meat and all the veggies topped with butter is just perfect <3
And the best is of course the leftovers for my lunch today!
Now work is calling my name and I must follow! I have a one-to-one coaching and a workshop today. Have a good start to the week!
