Happy Wednesday and happy WIAW! It’s already my third week doing the Whole 30 now and I feel like I am getting in a Paleo groove 😀 To vary my food options I even bought a nice Paleo cookbook by a German Paleo chef. My dinner was a recipe out of the book and I am looking forward to making more.
Today I am working from home again and I am happy about that. No one who wants me to just have a quick look at this or just really really quickly wants my opinion about that. Don’t get me wrong I love to help my colleagues with all their things but it often interferes with my own work. So today it’s just me, my laptop and a long day for myself.
So but it’s WIAW and now we’ll talk food.
My go to Whole30 breakfast still is my awesome TIT BAKE. I am still in the “everything-is-better-with-fruit” mindset so again I topped the yummyness with some berry delight. Strawberries and blueberries for the win 🙂 Crossfit was the plan for the morning so I dropped off Stefan at his workplace and then I headed for the Gym!
I really forgot to go food shopping on Monday and so we had nothing left to make lunch for Tuesday. So I just hit the organic supermarket after Crossfit and bought me some fruit. So more or less all those lovelies found their way into my belly over the afternoon. And a few more nuts than pictured here. Very yummy but I am ready to have something else than so much fruit for lunch. It’s great from time to time but not very sustainable in the long run. I think that’s part of the learning curve 🙂
I found a new brand of organic coconut water a few weeks ago and had to try it. It’s really lovely and I love it chilled directly out of the fridge. Perfect for a long and hot afternoon at the office.
When I came home our first way led to the supermarket and we stocked up on well everything! Then Stefan went to the Soccer Club and I went to the kitchen to prepare dinner. Yes it looks lovely and yes it was beyond delicious. Coconut & Almond Chicken Nuggets with Sweetpotato Fries. Definitely to be repeated <3
