the new year already took over the steering wheel and leads me back to a much-needed yet somehow dreaded routine. The bad thing about it is that I am back at work and after making my January to-do lists I am quite smitten. The good thing is that I am back on a meal plan and back in a workout routine which I really enjoy. Luckily it’s Wednesday and I am at home today. And Wednesday is also the day of sharing all our delicious eats. So Happy New Year and Happy WIAW!
So for today I’ll show you one day of my meal plan. As I mentioned before I do not follow the original plan precisely but I try to keep it at least comparable.
Again I started my day with a shared coffee in the car and hit the kitchen first thing arriving at the office. I microwaved a lovely banana egg bake, put it out of the microwave and stopped dead. My banana bake came out in the most random and weird shape that had ever developed. A tit! I stood there in the kitchen alone and just had to laugh out loud. Please tell me you see nothing different but a deflated tit! Nevertheless it was awesome!
My meal plan requires a protein shake as an afternoon snack and I mixed it up with a frozen banana. It was good but as my lunch had been so small I felt it was not enough to keep me fueled enough for my workout. So I had a unpictured nakd bar in the car.
From work I went straight to my workout. I struggled with my workouts during december but yesterday I killed it! I was loaded with energy and pushed through full force. I even managed to increase my number of repetitions in every exercise. I felt like a female Hulk 😉 I was home around 8pm and heated up some chili con carne we still had in the freezer. My husband makes the best chili ever and I loved every spoon.
I have to tackle my never-ending to-do-lists now. Yikes!
