Hello party people, it’s high time to catch up!
The last two weeks have been packed with fun activities but also some not so fun stuff. Sleep is much needed but as it’s Tuesday morning already I guess sleep has to wait. Oh the joys of adulthood!
This week is nothing short of crazy either and so this is going to be a short and sweet catch up. Mainly a picture dump actually! But considering how bad I am at keeping it short, I guess we’ll have to see…
Speaking of adulthood, I have to wear glasses now when I am working at the computer.
What an intro!
Anyway, let’s quickly catch up before I need to get back to work again. Why is life so crazy busy right now? I am also linking up with my dear Meg <3
Besides the working out, cleaning, food shopping, cooking and normal adulting Stefan and I used the long weekend here to declutter and completely organize the basement and the office.
That means I went through every single box of my childhood junk and I threw out quite a bit. I also had a good laugh about a few things I found. Like my old English workbook from 7th grade. I guess this artwork either expresses my feelings towards learning English or school as an institution as such. We will never know. Unquestionable is just that I was a really bad student. I found all my old report cards and I was shocked by how bad I really was. Interesting how your memory can betray you!
But I also had my fair share of leisurely activities which consisted mainly of me getting brunch with various friends on different occasions. One of my highlights though was going on a lovely walk (followed by breakfast) with my oldest friend.
The other one was catching up with my co-worker girlfriends from my first job after university. We all ordered the same and sat in the sun for hours. It was awesome and we do that definitely not often enough!
Oh and I can definitely not let this lunch be unmentioned. My Crossfit buddy from Malaysia invited me to lunch to her place and cooked me this awesome soup. Also, I hung out at her place for way too long after. Isn’t it awesome when people don’t leave anymore?
I also dedicated some time to work on a little side project. I love how that pushes me out of my comfort zone in a gentle way.
Last but definitely not least we celebrated Stefan’s uncle’s 60th birthday last weekend and just spent a wonderful day with the family at a nearby lake. The food was a delight, the weather was amazing and the whole day was just a relaxed and fun get-together. In the best way possible I was a little busy though as I was the designated photographer of the day.
I wish I could say this week everything is going back to normal but considering that I am posting this one day late you can probably tell that it is not! Cross your fingers for me, send good thoughts and a lot of patience.
