Peopel today my arms hurt like crazy! After two days conentrating on arms with horrible numbers of push-ups and pull-ups (still my nemesis) and yesterday additional pusjh-presses. It was great! I actually like when I feel my arm muscles grow.
But I am super glad that I have plans to go to a sauna spa with my friend Sandra tonight after some decent work on my thesis. I really need to relax a little and I am also very keen to catch up with her after a long time when we never met alone.
But before diving into my work today let’s talk a little about food. To mix things up a little I’ll show you all my eats from Saturday.
Our Saturdays are usually all the same. We get up, have some coffee pack our stuff and go grocery shopping. We usually bulk buy vegetables, fruit, oats, nuts, non-dairy milk, cheese, bacon and wine. And sometimes we also get one of these amazing cheese pretzle baguettes for breakfast! My favorite is making a bacon & egg sandwich with it! SO GOOD!
We hung out for the rest of the morning binge watching Orphan Black until we got hungry again. In my case to be honest hunger wasn’t driving me but pure greed! The amazing Stefan made us Spinach Quesadillas. What a blessing to have a husband who cookes really really good! And he’s a habit of stuffing really much spinach and cheese in the quesadillas 🙂
Because day drinking on a Sturday is totally acceptable in our books we enjoyed a liquid snack on Saturday. I had a Cider and Stefan an Ale. And another benefit of day drinking? Cooking dinner slightly tipsy is definitely fun!
Because I usually listen to a friend’s advise and also because he sparked a major craving over here I did what Arman told me and had some steak, cheese and potatos. Best dinner ever! We ended the day with some more ice cream and some more Orphan Black.
Thanks to lovely Jenn for hosting today again!
Have a great Wednesday, friends! I am totally hiding in my data now! Full-blown Super Slacker procrastination mode!
