It’s Thursday, the sun is shining and I am ready for s little random fun. Thanks to lovely Amanda for hosting our ramblings every week!
I’ve never given much thought about Pinterest. Until lately! I am so obsessed with it now. I pin like a boss and I’ve already found so many recipes I once tried but never made again as there are always so many new I want to try. Now I try to pin them neatly and whenever I feel the need of a new dinner inspiration I consult my Pinterest boards. As yesterday: Chili Cheese Sweetpotoato Fries <3
Same thing applies to my own recipes. Like I was totally gaga about this Frappuccino last year and then when it got colder outside totally forgot about it. But when I started to pin my own recipes as well I found love at second sight! I can’t stop thinking about the creamy texture and cool smoothness. Yum!
Last week I rummaged through the basement compartment and found some really cool things. Sometimes it’s a curse but in those moments it’s a blessing that I keep so much stuff! Here you go with the top 3:
Tetris for my first Gameboy ca 1994
My Dad and I ca 1988
My first own cookbook
I guess I was about 7 years old and this was my favorite recipe: potatoes with butter and caraway seed. See I am the born recipe creator 😀
I don’t wanna be….
I am so obsessed with One Tree Hill again! I made it through season 1 in about 4 days and I am already half through season 2 thanks to my sister who fuels my demand of new seasons. Maybe that’s why I spend so much time in the kitchen lately 😉
Look at my fun nail polish. It was kind of an accident that I got a thermal polish. When my fingers are cold the color is white and when the fingers are warm the polish is a pale pink. I originally settled for the pale pink and in the drying process we figured out it was a thermal polish when my nails turned all white. I didn’t mind as I decided between white and pink in the beginning. My nieces will love it and I see myself with my hands under the tub changing between hot and cold water for at least half an hour next time I see them.
Today I am all wrapped up in my data analysis again. I can see light in the end of the tunnel. And I finally go to see the specialist for my throat. As I don’t feel any pain for 4 days now I have a feeling that nothing abnormal will be detected. Fingers crossed!
Have a nice Thursday!
