Hello Monday you make me anxious today. I have so much to do yet I have to take a sicky. I am just totally tired, I have a sore throat and a stuffy nose and a mean headache. I guess my body sentences me to take a break. Maybe I can work a little later but this morning I will rest. But let’s catch up first.
Let’s start with the social part…
Again this was a week of being anywhere but home. On Thursday my mum and I made the advent wreath I was talking about and a few other things I’ll show you later this week.
In the evening we went to a Greek restaurant with my cousin and her boyfriend as well as Stefan’s cousin and her boyfriend. The food was fantastic and we had an amazing evening.
On Friday I felt the first signs of a cold but we were invited to the 30th Birthday of my oldest friend from elementary school so we had to go. Though I felt quite weak we had a really nice and funny evening. We left short before midnight and when we arrived at home I immediately fell asleep.
On Saturday morning we packed our stuff and visited the Christmas Fair in Biberach aka Narnia. We spent a day with a lot of laughing and food with my sister and cousin.
I always love to go to this specific fair and I look forward to it the whole year. It’s magical and now I am truly in the right mood for Christmas 🙂
On Sunday I got up at 5 am, had a coffee and a Tit Bake, drove to Augsburg to pick up one of my fellow box members and then we went to see the German Throwdown 2014 Finals.
It was so amazing! It was the first Crossfit competition I ever witnessed and I was so impressed. So many amazing athletes. This women won the Elite Women Class. She was just impressive!

In the evening we met our friend Sandra for Raclette and drinks. She’s the kind of amazing friend that makes you an allergy-friendly version of a yummy drink. Almond Milk 43 😀
Let’s move onto the work part…
I had my last workshop last week – woohoo!
I had two interviews that were both really intense.
Let’s not talk about the rest – we proceeded from mildly depressing to everything is open again. At the moment we don’t know what will happen in January. When you sort out all the things that could possibly go wrong, for sure the only thing you thought was easy will put you right.
And then there’s the workout part…
I was on/off sick last week so I only went to my soccer practice on Monday and one Crossfit session on Wednesday. We did front squats and I loved it. I am really getting a kick out of lifting. And after the German Throwdown I am more than motivated to lift more 🙂
Last but obviously not least, let’s move onto food!!!
I am all into this Mug Cake for breakfast lately. Add a handful of chocolate nibs and I am all in 🙂
And besides that I was eating out so much that nothing really happened in the kitchen. I hope for better times 😛
Though I loved everything I did last week I think it was a little bit too much for me to handle. I really need to rest and sleep a bit now. And get healthy again. With these wise words spoken, I wish you a very nice day and good start to the week!
