how can two days feel already so long? Maybe it’s because we have a 4-day week here and I am already anticipating the week to pass fast? Nevertheless this Wednesday I am back in my office. I’ll have a coaching in about one hour but besides that I expect two calm days with working on a report. It’s high time to finish that little bugger and I know I will feel great when it’s finally off the table. So big plans in my little office world 😛
As Friday is our national holiday I decided to make Tuesday my home office day this week instead. So I’ll have another round of: What i ate when I am working from home. As always I felt very snacky.
I slept a little longer yesterday than usually. At the moment I am quite tired and seem to need more sleep. So I allowed myself to sleep 1,5 h longer than originally planned. I can’t say I was really on top of the world when I finally dragged my body downstairs to have breakfast. Of course without a thought I made me my inevitable Banana Egg Bake & Coffee with Coconut Milk. Old habits die hard… Though I add some allspice lately for making it taste more like fall. This reminds me that I really need to make Davida’s Pumpkin Spice Recipe this weekend.
I worked my way through some emails in the morning, answered some phone calls and tried to get friendly with the bespoken report but failed miserably. I was not really hungry but felt pretty snacky. I raided the kitchen but everything I found were nuts and fruits. So I first chucked a handful of cashews. and I might remember a fig with hazelnutbutter but as there’s no picture it might as well have been a dream…
Lunch was tricky. After my fist full of cashews I wasn’t really hungry anymore but I knew I needed something. And preferably fresh. Luckily I had baby spinach in the fridge so I made me a giant Green Smoothie. It was actually twice the size of this mug 🙂 And along the smoothie I gave Arman’s Microwave English Muffin a try. Obviously I made the Paleo version and spread it with Justin’s Vanilla Almond Butter. Delicious!
In the afternoon there might have also been another Raw Vegan Snickers Bar. Seriously my reputation as a cook sky-rocket since I first made them. To bad I can’t claim the credit for those lovelies! This time I made them sans chocolate and I have to say that I like them even better this way! Don’t throw (raw vegan) pies at my face for saying that please 😉
In the evening I met up with Stefan and his cousin Andi for watching the Champions League match between Munich and Moscow. Munich won but the match was neither really exciting nor able to hold our full attention. So we had time to catch up a little. Stefan and I shared a basket full of fried goodies. The Mango Sauce is to die for! My stomach thanked me for that this morning but that’s entirely a different story!
When we arrived at home I wasn’t able to stay awake for long but apparently I caused some amusement as I talked again in my sleep. He sent me a text a few minutes ago announcing that he would read it to me tonight. YAY! I love this. I am even more funny when I sleep talk.

I will definitely hunting down some spaghetti squash tonight! Okay but now I really have to dash… just some random things I need to know from you.
