it’s Wednesday again and thick fog is swirling through the early morning outside my window. After publishing this post have to pack my stuff and then I am going to have breakfast with my mom and aunt. Around noon I am hitting the roads to drive all the way up to the east of Germany where I am going to attend a conference at the Technical University of Cottbus. I dreaded going there all alone for the last two weeks but today I am actually a bit excited. I look forward to discuss my dissertation and work with other professionals
Yesterday was one of those days when you just do all the things you have to and then it’s afternoon and you realize that it’s Tuesday and you haven’t shot a single picture of the things you ate
Luckily I eat the same things over and over and over again and so I won’t have a problem to show you my eats nonetheless 😉
Luckily I seem to fit better to the patterns of my life lately. Means I wake up and don’t have to snooze my alarm thrice 😉 At home I ate a Banana Egg Bake and had a cup of coffee.

Work rushed yesterday. I had some stuff to organize for the conference and then I had a 2 h meeting with my two colleagues about next year’s strategy! Mid-morning I had a fruit and nut bar which remains unpictured because… well, it looks boring! For lunch I had brought some Thai Curry which I ate cold because…well cold curry rocks 😉 The picture is recycled from this post
After Lunch we went to the supermarket to buy coffee and cookies and some chocolates for the last round og workshops this year. As I was craving something sweet I bought me a few figs and drizzled them with hazelnut butter! I swear the best nut butter fruit combo I know! The picture is recycled from this post which was pretty much exactly one year ago! After this Lady sparked an intense craving for Soja Chocolate Pudding last week I also inhaled the last cup that didn’t make it into ice cream! Fantastic idea!
Dinner was not really a sit down and enjoy food kind of dinner as I spend the evening in my kitchen with some recipe experimenting. I had so many tiny bits and pieces that I wasn’t hungry at all when I was finished and the kitchen clean again. Of course I won’t deny you my experiments:
1. Satay Mie Noodles with Sugar Peas
2. Spinach Sweetpotato Quesadillas
3. Paleo Sweetpotato Gnocchi
I love pouring me a glass of wine and then disappearing in the kitchen for a few hours. But hey if that’s the outcome I don’t even complain about all the washing up! Yes, this girls is living without a dish washer! Not voluntarily I might add but the kitchen was just too small :-/
Many thanks to lovely Jenn, for hosting this fantastic link-up!
Okay guys, now I need to dash! Meeting mommy, buying a new audio book for my 12 h in the car alone, prepping my food and then hitting the roads. See you all back tomorrow and cross your fingers for only light traffic 😉
