happy Thursday! Only one more day to go until the weekend. Luckily today is no intro needed as I am terribly uncreative today. So I better just start thinking out loud? Thanks Amanda for hosting 🙂 If you want to learn more about the idea behind the link-up just click here
Work work is slow at the moment – thank god for that! My thesis on the other hand needs more of my energy. So I decided to dedicate two days a week to my thesis. This will be Thursday and Friday. So today I am going to hit the library and tomorrow I’ll rely on my favorite office in the world. You know what I am talking about 😉
Yesssss Starbucks. The most creative atmosphere, the stimulating smell of delicious coffee and comfy seating options. Always a winner. My first to-do will be to adjust my task schedule. I need to prioritize my tasks or otherwise I’ll never finish that damn thing
2. Fall in my Heart
Fall is slowly arriving here in the south of Germany. Everybody is cursing the end of summer but I am embracing the change of seasons. I am and have always been a fall person. The beauty of fall makes my heart ache. I think I mentioned that a couple of times before that the typical fall atmosphere created by morning fog, the falling leaves, the wind and smell perfectly fits my melancholic mood. And though this seems impossible I feel more free and at ease in fall. And a less cheesy reason? I love huge woolen scarfs 😉
3. Pumpkin me up
Another benefit we get from fall is obviously the variety of pumpkins and squash. My favorites are Hokkaido and Butternut. Yum! I am waiting for months to make this lovely recipe of Pumpkin Lasagna
Or maybe a stuffed Hokkaido?
And we definitely need another Dexter Moment
The flight to NY was long and so I took the opportunity to watch Frozen.Ever since I am obsessed with Olaf! I’ve you’re not already you must watch this.I insist. You must!
5. Running again
A couple of month ago my friend Kristin and I registered for the Women’s Run in Munich. Now this Saturday it’s D-Day. The run isn’t really long only 8k but I am totally unprepared. I haven’t run 8k in months. I guess the last 8k I ran were actually when I ran the Half back in April. Ooops! But I am actually looking forward to running again. Maybe I paused long enough to appreciate this kind of exercise again. So let’s get out the running shoes and kick some pink asses 😉
Have a lovely Thursday guys!
