Over the last days I was badly jetlegged with all the deadly tiredness during the days and being wide awake at night. Not nice when you have your fist day back at work after 3 h of sleep. But by now I am almost back to normal.
I am telling you a little more about our trip over the course of the week. I’ll just need to mention that we had absolutely the best time ever and though I had very high expectations those 4 weeks excelled my wildest dreams. But I leave that up for your judgement 😉 For today I am starting with one of the most important things: FOOD <3 I’ll shut up now and show you the craze instead…
Okay friends, ready to get jealous?
What we ate for Breakfast
We usually started the day with Oatmeal 🙂 Boring? Not the slightest!
But sometimes we mixed things up and went with something like this
What we ate for Lunch
In New York we usually hit Whole Foods or Chipotle and took it to the park. Amazing!
Later in California we started to grill in the evenings and made Lunchboxes from the leftovers. Maybe even better!
What we ate for Dinner
Dinner surely was the best time food-wise. Just lean back and enjoy.
My personal highlights:
1. Spare Ribs at Blue Smoke BBQ NY – I swear the meat just fell off the bone
2. Tapas at the Yucca Bar – East Village NY
3. Steak grilled by the king of all BBQs himself – my lovely husband
