1. I tasted blood
I spend the whole day yesterday on the couch analyzing my data. I made it half through the chaos which is amazing. I guess I finally tasted blood! So though it’s a bank holiday and I have officially a free day and though it’s my cousin’s birthday and all my family is out celebrating I decided to spend the day again on my couch with the rest of my data. Call me dedicated, call me stupid, call me whatever but I am going to tame the beast today!
2. Being Chandler
Last week I came across that really really funny compilation of Chandler moments centering around whether you might be the Chandler among your friends. I certainly am! See the evidence here:

3. New Girl
I am totally obsessed with New Girl. I am already through 1/3 of the 2nd season whilst data organisation. I love working from home!
4. Coloring the Walls
We’re living in our apartment for a little more than 3 years now and I feel that I need a new color in our living room. I am stalking pinterest lately to find something I like. I am thinking of something in the greenish blue. Lovely!
Since starting the Whole30 I had some severe cravings. It started yesterday. First I thought I couldn’t live any longer without having a Dürüm Döner. Luckily that passed after a few minutes. In the evening I could have killed for a glass of white wine. That’s so weird I haven’t been much into white wine till very recently. And then I wanted some really hot piri-piri sauce or sriracha. Oh man, the next 26,5 days will be intense…
6. Eating out
Tonight we’re going out for dinner for celebrating my cousin’s birthday. I have stalked the restaurant online and after carefully reading through the whole menu I can say that there’s nothing big enough for dinner on it I can have. That really sucks! Okay but never mind. I decided to have an early lunch and early dinner at home and then at the restaurant I’ll just go with a starter salad. There’s a holy lot of thinking ahead included in this challenge. Maybe that’s why they say it’s a challenge. At home everything is easy but as soon as you want to eat out it really gets challenging!
7. Preparing for the weekend
This weekend my it’s my little niece Nina’s christening. So I have to face a large cake buffet in the afternoon and a beer, chips, and other crap but tempting stuff revelry whilst watching soccer. On Saturday it’s the second World Cup match of Germany and of course we’re going to watch it. So I spent an embarrassing amount of time planning how I am going to cope with the temptation. For the afternoon I am totally breaking the Whole30 rule not to paleofy any treats. I will stay within the food guidelines but excuse me I am not a masochist. Of course I’ll make me some paleo cake! And for the evening I think I’ll go with a salty and sweet berries/ nuts mix. Yum. As long as I have SOMETHING to snack I won’t miss the crap snacks.
By the way I already figured out that coconut milk is a fantastic coffee creamer! So delicious!
