Happy Wednesday and happy WIAW! The sun is shining again and I am in a freaking good mood. Today it’s again time for working with my data and I am so motivated and looking forward to it. I am really positive that I can make a huge progress today. Yes it’s one of these happy days 🙂 But before I jump in a chaos of data I’ll tell you about my day and eats yesterday.
I started my day with a Banana Egg Bake at home. For the last three days I adapted the recipe to make it Whole30 friendly meaning I substitute the soy milk for coconut milk. THIS IS SO FREAKING GOOD! If I ever can go back to using soy milk? Probably not!
Then I went to Crossfit. I arrived early yesterday to work on my rowing technique. I spend some time with youtube last week and watched and memorized some rowing tutorials 😛 Yes, that’s the way I am! Then we warmed up and had a little strength training alternated with some skipping. Then we did a AMRAP workout alternating between 4 minutes of skipping, kettlebell swings and running and 2 min rest. I was dead after it! And felt great 🙂 Yesterday my colleague and friend Ulrike accompanied me to Crossfit. After yesterday’s WOD she’s hooked now 🙂
On our way back to the office we stopped at the local organic supermarket and got some fruit. Then we had lunch together. Like last week I had some BBQ leftovers packet for lunch. So good. Of course I had them cold 😉
My afternoon at work was quiet and nice and I accomplished a lot besides getting my thesis stuff done. The highlight of my afternoon surely was when Ulrike and I shared half of a watermelon and some strawberries as a snack 🙂
I picked Stefan up at 6.15 pm and then we went food shopping. We stocked up on loads of fruit, nuts and veggies and then went home for cooking dinner. We had a mixed salad and a beef burger patty. It was yummy but I couldn’t eat it all. About 1/3 of that patty went to Stefan’s lunch salad.
A bit later I had a bowl of the sweetest and most delicious pineapple I had in months. We watched a little of the Worldcup match between Brasil and Mexico but I fell asleep mid-match. It definitely wasn’t worth staying up 😛
Okay guys, now I am turning to my data. Have a fantastic Wednesday <3
What was a fabulous thing you ate lately?
What’s your favorite fruit?
And many thanks to lovely Jenn, for hosting this fantastic link-up!
