Happy Wednesday and happy WIAW! I am sitting on my couch, sipping coffee and wonder if I ever make it to my hairdresser as it’s raining buckets outside. And I don’t have a car today. And it’s a 10 min walk from the bus station. Grrrrrr! But let’s just postpone the problem…. I have another hour…
So yesterday was a slow day. The weather was greyish and wet and all my colleagues and I were somehow tired and unmotivated and so we all just took it slow yesterday.
As a nice change I had breakfast at home. I decided to go to the Crossfit Gym on Tuesday mornings before work from now on. So when I woke up I made me breakfast and ate it right away. I had a bowl of Creamy Coconut Maple Oats with Raspberries. So good! But it was a bit strange as I usually eat a tad later. I was pretty full afterwards. We had coffee in the car together. The roads were pretty crowded and after dropping off Stefan I was stuck in a traffic jam and arrived at the gym.
It was really good to break a sweat in the morning before work. The WOD was challenging but didn’t bleed me dry. So I left the gym wide awake, energized and happy. I picked up my colleague at the office and we went food shopping. I ran out of workshop catering the other week so I needed to get some coffee, cookies and chocolates for my mentees. Then we had lunch together. I had brought some leftover chili con carne. Always a winner!
I spend the afternoon with my e-mails and a little paperwork and then I had a long chat with my colleague which was pretty nice. She wants to get more into strength training and considers to join me at crossfit. That would be awesome! My student assistant brough us some almond chocolate cake. He’s such a sweet guy! The cake was awesome but remained unpuictured. Then I had half of this lovely on our ride home in the car.
I dropped off Stefan at his soccer club and went home. I had a recipe for noodle salad in mind which I wanted to try. What should I say? I seem to be a genius in the kitchen. It turned out delicious!
And then I had some dark chocolate. It’s 85 % which seems to be exactly my type of chocolate. Yummy!
Now I am out and about to my hairdresser.
