I hope you have a good day! I again had to change my home office day as I had an appointment at my doctor again first thing this morning. It brought me nothing but a new appointment at a specialist tomorrow. I hope I’m done with all those appointments soon. I don’t really get into a working groove when I can only start at 12 pm. And I really desperately need to work on my study!
This afternoon my 6-year old niece it coming to visit me. Her mother and two sisters are already on holiday and she and her father are still here for her last week of school before easter vacation. So I thought I spoil her a little. She’s the eldest and always has to be the responsible one. So I thought she might enjoy to get all the attention for once. We’re going to bake muffins. Her favorite thing to do with me 🙂 But for now let’s recap my second last week of my New Body Makeover Challenge!
New Body Makeover Challenge – Week 11
Week 11 was a setback. I couldn’t workout once though I managed to play the soccer match yesterday. I could move pretty well and my leg didn’t swell for a few days so I thought I’d give it a go. Some twisting still hurt but luckily my team-mate is a trained physic and she taped my ankle into position. I had absolutely no problems with the ankle so I consider this a great sign for the half.
My goals for that week were:
- Get that fucking ankle fixed!
Okay I achieved that almost but I’m sure in another week it will be next to new. I am happy! I’ve already been through a phase in my life where I was not able to move at all so I’m happy that this injury turned out minor.
Regarding my meal planning I could describe my last week as a fail. Planning didn’t really happen. I had just no time and then it was already Thursday and I just et go. Funnily I ate almost as I would have with a plan. But I am going back to my plan this week as I really enjoy just to follow a plan rather than thinking about my meals every day twice. All my main meals were great despite the planned cheat burger. In between I indulged in the occasional ice cream or piece of dark chocolate and I am very happy that it seems I can slowly stomach a little sugar! All in all I was happy with my food!
Regarding the sleep I have been crap again! I need to give sleep more room in my life. Yesterday afternoon I managed to squeeze in a nap. Blissful! I loved it! I need more napping in my life!
All in all to me the week had more downs than ups but that’s life and I think I coped fair enough. No charts this week they were so empty…
I realized I am still in the mindset where I anticipate I would gain a pound or two if I skipped a workout and indulges in a piece of cake. This week taught me that I’m not getting fat so quickly! I still need to learn how to relax. Luckily I managed not to make up on my exercise shortfall by shortening my food. Something I would have done for sure in the past!
My lessons learned from week #11
- I need to learn how to let go and relax but so far I’m on a good way
- I need exercise for my inner balance but I can life without it for a week
- Holy moly I wasn’t aware how much spare time you have without exercising!
- I still need to sleep more!
Goals for week #12
- Improve overall and get in a half-marathon mindset
- Finish my running playlist
- Sleep more and exercise moderately
- Have fun at my first (and most possibly only) half-marathon
Okay lovelies, I need to make me lunch now! I am basically starving. Of course I’m
listing linking-up with Meghan today!
Have a lovely day guys! Hope your week will be great!
