I hope you have a good day! Mine started way too early! My husband needed to be at the office at 7:15 am so I had to get up 5.15 am. I AM a morning person but that is actually still night!!!
The good thing about being at the office so early is that I am able to make a really long lunch break and go to IKEA. It’s only 12 minutes from work by car. We need some storage boxes and kitchen accessories and to be honest I just love IKEA! Doesn’t every girl?
As I promised I will give you an update about my ew Body Makeover Challenge. I am six weeks into my new year’s goals which centers around my half marathon training. Last week I told you about my struggles. Let’s see what happened in week 6…
New Body Makeover Challenge – Week 6
Though I achieved almost all my goals I am still not happy with my progress. I had a few drinks and I do not feel guilty about it but I drank more alcohol than intended. Sometimes I just wish I could quit drinking alcohol for good but then I am remembered that I actually enjoy having a drink. And I really don’t drink too much. We talk about 6 units a week or so.
But let’s look at the chart now:Every week you have 21 meals (without snacks) to make a healthy food choice. For every healthy food choice you may color one smiley. So you have 21 smileys to color at max. My food was and is absolutely healthy. I can color 20 smilies which is fantastic. The only thing I still need to work on is binge snacking. I am snacking way too much in between. All these little nibbles.
Let’s evaluate the workout part…
For every day you worked out there’s also a smiley to color. I am super happy with my workout regime. I can color 5 smileys for exercising. That is good and I am proud of it. I have a chart for workouts now, too 🙂
My lessons learned from week #6
- I need to find a balance between eating healthy, enjoying my life and working out
- I need to stick to a meal plan
- I am starting all over again
- I’ve received fantastic news which I am going to share with you in the course of this week 🙂
So my goals for week 7 are pretty easy and straight forward:
Goals for week #7
- Following my new meal plan
- Being sore from great workouts 🙂
- Motivation and Power
And I have to come back to my mantra:
Okay I am back into action and I am trying to find a way that works for me. Not easy at all! I am sitting down now and making a meal plan for me. Who could customize it better than I do? Nobody. If that doesn’t work out for me I can still try to find someone to make a plan for me.
I had to sit out on Arman’s Spill it Sunday link-up yesterday but I just don’t have to say so much about music. I’ve put my mobile on shuffle and was pretty excited what would come but it was the same for every song. I didn’t really like the song but other parts of the album or soundtrack. Too boring.
But I am going to share this with someone who appreciates a good list as much as I do 🙂
After work I’ll be heading for a cardio hiit-workout with the soccer girls! Can’t wait for all those hill sprints! (Yes this was sarcasm!)
Have a great start to the week lovelies 🙂
