it’s the second day in 2014 and I am beginning with my new/old eating/workout routine. Yesterday was a day of much-needed recovery and though I had neither sugar nor alcohol I was not 100% satisfied with my eats. I forgive me my eating though as I simply wasn’t conscience enough to cook properly yesterday.
So this morning I got up and tackled my goal! A few weeks ago I purchased the blogilates fit journal because I consider it a fun way to keep track of my habits. It leaves room for the water intake too which is great as I am pretty crap on the water front lately.
I’s got a nice design and filling in the details is not so much work to do. Along with the journal there is a workout plan I won’t follow as I already do so much by now. There’s also a meal plan which I let inspire my food but I can’t totally commit to. First it’s not manageable if you still want a social life – which I do! Second you simply don’t get all the necessary ingredients in Germany at the moment and I don’t wont to get stressed out. So for example today’s lunch was supposed be turkey meatballs with sweetpotato and I exchanged it for turkey sweetpotato curry.
As a type A I got prepared for the first week. I used post-its to plan my meals and in the end of each day I can check what I really ate and fill in the gaps. That’s the plan so far.
This is my new mantra. It’s nothing special really but as I read it in a post (I am so sorry I forgot where this was – blog was great!) a couple of weeks ago. It totally hit the spot, stoke my motivation and crossed my mind again and again ever since.
What are you doing in order to stay motivated to reach your goals?
Have a lovely day!
