I am a little late this week and I totally forgot Sunday was already yesterday. As I am working from home today it felt like the weekend was not yet over. So I’m a little late for Arman‘s link-up but I reckon I still made it in time.
2013 is almost over (yes I’m truly shocked about that) and I love the idea of reviewing 2013 by the most shocking/ random events I came across or discovered. I’ll make a full recap of 2013 tomorrow anyway but I’ll get ahead of the event’ s section now. Oh my gosh 2013 really was exciting…
1. My wedding
The most shocking/ random event certainly was my wedding. I still can’t believe I’m a married women. I still feel like a petulant child most of the time but I’m actually really married – I mean in real! Nevertheless despite the incredibility I am more than happy and my wedding certainly was the best day of my life so far!
I am truly still a little shocked about my guts to finally start this blog. I think in the last six month I really started to find my voice and I’m getting better with every post. I am truly happy about the amazing people I met and being a blogger is one of the most satisfying and wonderful things I’ve ever done. I’m very curious what the next year will bring…
3. Fantastic Holidays
Next week we’ll start planning our big honeymoon. It will be the U.S. 😀 Ney York and San Francisco to be precise. We plan on going the next August for at least 3 weeks. I am already so excited that I could bust with anticipation!
4. Champions League 2013
Finally finally finally The 1.FC Bayern München won the Champions League last year! We watched every single game and the finals were the day after our wedding. Guess what my wedding gift for m husband was? Jepp a tricot! We were absolutely destroyed that evening but somehow made it awake through a fantastic game! This certainly was a memorable and good time. I love watching a good game but I loved and enjoyed spending the time with our dear friends even more!
5. Listening to myself
This year I realized that there are times when you have to listen to yourself and your body. As a classical type A personality I am prepared to push through fully force. But there is also time where you have to stop and rest. Last Friday at work I took this picture of our usually crowded parking lot – you see my reflection in the window? ;-). Who’s the only dumbbell working? Jepp me! But not anymore. Today I’m working from home a half day and later we will go to the SPA in Erding. So looking forward. Swimming, having a sauna, relaxing. Perfect conclusion of a fantastic year!
And here is my Obligatory Selfie 🙂
