I proudly announce that I enjoyed another activity from my want-do list last week!
I think it is easy for you to guess which one it was 😉
For those of you who did not read my latest posts on that topic you find my want-do list here.
In the beginning of fall I made a list of 10 things I want to do before the year is over. In the meanwhile this is the 4th goal on my list I achieved and I enjoyed every single one immensely! Writing my want-dos down made me appreciate the time even more. I really recommend it to all of you. It’s not about feeling bad if I don’t accomplish everything but I hope to make 8 out of 10 at least! And yes, you’re right I said 4 even though I only posted about 3. That’s why I am very busy at the moment and the 3rd I achieved deserves a more detailed report. I promise it will come next week!
I already told you that I spend the weekend in London! I met up with my friend Kristin on Thursday evening since she had a work meeting to attend till 9pm. As my plane arrived at Heathrow around 2:30pm I had a whole afternoon and early evening for myself. I can tell you that I did not mind the slightest! I love the city and I was very happy and content to catch up privately.
So this was the perfect time for
Drinking a cider at the The Spice of Life Pub on Tottenham Court Road in London
I walked through the city for about 2h making a detour to my aimed destination: The Spice of Life
This pub was the first that caught my eye when I visited London for the first time. Then and there I was too shy to enter a Pub on my own but I wanted to go there sometime from that moment on. The next time in London I tried but it was too crowded. So I thought last week was now or never. I went in, felt comfy and cozy and found a nice little sofa where I sat down. Then I hit the bar, ordered an Aspell Cider and made myself comfortable with my book.
As you see on that picture I had a burger a little later too. Sorry for the quality of the picture but the lighting was not very blogger friendly 😉 Nevertheless the pub is really nice and all the stuff made me feel very welcome and easy. One of the waiters chatted with me in German a little. And I was even asked if I didn’t enjoy my food as I did not eat the burger bun. The bun was quite good actually but sorry wheat is simply not my friend. And I only make excuses when it comes to treats like muffins or brownies.
Let me break a no secret: I made some excuses that weekend Food wrap-up to come on Wednesday!
I hope your weekend was as good as mine! Enjoy your week and don’t forget to live a little!
