Hello everyone,
first things first: How do you like my new header? I am pretty happy with it. I toyed around with some ideas over the last few weeks and this it the result. YAY 🙂
As promised I will share with you my progress on my want-do list. You can read about this list when you klick on the picture.
So Wednesday was THE day when I managed to complete my first want -do
After spending the morning with my sister I headed for my favorite bookshop in Munich: Hugendubel at Marienplatz. After strolling through the shop for a while and selecting a few books I went to the little coffee shop on the 6th floor, got a bottle of water and snuggeld in a little corner. I was so ready for a relaxing afternoon.
I had put on my list:
Spending an entire afternoon at a cafe reading (fiction) without checking mails, working and guilt!
I’ll tell you what: IT WAS A SUCCESS 🙂
I did not check my mails once (I didn’t even think about my mails) and I was so not sorry for not working or doing something productive. It felt so good to just being with me and some books and a good story. I read a few pages in various books and got hooked by Kerstin Giers Rubinrot (Ruby Red) which I read in German since the author is a german Lady. Nevertheless the setting is London so that’s a plus for the book from my point of view.
4 hours and a cappuccino later I was 2/3 though the book. I had to go because I was to meet up with my husband and some friends. Of course I bought the book and I am sure the other books of this triologie will be mine soon too 🙂
Next thing on this list is planned for the weekend!
I’ll keep you posted!
Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy your fall!
Sounds like a fabulous afternoon. Love the idea of a want-do list 🙂 I need to make one of those!
I was so happy to write this post. I think I even enjoyed that afternoon more knowing I had written down that I wouldn’t check mails or feel guilty. This list was a great thing for me! It allows guilt free me-time 🙂 You should give it a try!
I love the idea of a list for the rest of 2013, and Christmas markets sound so fun! Wish there were some near me!
We have loads of christmas fairs in Germany. Almost every city has one. Munich has many though. There are traditional ones and a pink one and even a medieval one. So much fun!
That sounds like the perfect way to spend the afternoon! I love it 🙂
I loved it too. Much needed relaxing time!
The new header looks great! Ahh, is there anything better in life than curling up for hours with coffee and a good book? That’s definitely on my to-do list!
Thank you! Yes it’s one of my favorite things to do too 🙂
Love the header!!! And that afternoon. I need a day like that!
Thank you! I really recommend such a day to everyone. I was so happy and content in the evening! And I love a new good story 😀
