TGIW!!! – doesn’t really count? It does! Because tomorrow’s a special bank holiday of the city where I’m working. That means, it’s a free day for me!!! I am so happy I will have this day off tomorrow because I am truely feeling the stress in my system. Though I have plenty of errands to run I will sleep in a little, have a extended gym session and will enjoy a coffee with myself in the sun! So much looking forward to this!

Something terrible happend to me this week. As I told you I have a little trouble with my stomach and since I don’t react very well to milk and yoghurt I decided to try to take a pass on all dairy. I really go cold turkey. That means no cottage cheese!!! At all!!! How will I survive? On the one hand I hope my stomach improves but on the other hand I hope it doesn’t because that would mean I have to quit cottage cheese for good. But I am not jinxing it right now…. speak of the devil and the devil shows up!
So here you go with my cottage cheese free meal plan. (Yes, it’s possible – somehow!)
Since I finished a jar of peanut butter the day before I started the day with some peanut buttered overnight oats with unsweetened soy milk and a splash of seabuckthorn jam. So good!
I had a wonderful Green Smoothie for Meal#2 consisting of 1/2 green apple, 1 peach, spinach and coconut water. Absolutely delicious and refreshing. In between I also had a huge cup of coffee with some hazelnut and soy milk.
I didn’t come home until 10pm on Monday evening so I decided that Tuesday’s lunch had to be a quick fix: Quinoa salad. I love the different flavours and spices and it’s an excellent lunch for a workout day. Not too filling but it provides a lot of energy!
It’s perfect peach time at the moment and I had a fresh cut peach with some soy yoghurt for meal#4. I didn’t want to be too full for my evening workout and some fruit’n yoghurt is always a brilliant choice for me.
The office was again way too hot and I felt a little light-headed in the afternoon. So I decided not to work any overtime. I made my sweet escape around 3pm and hit the shopping mall. I desperately needed some air-conditioning and I had 2 1/2 hours to kill till picking up my hubby from work! I was very surprised to see all the fall fashion there on display. Ok, it’s the time of the year but at the moment I can hardly bring myself to wear any appropriate clothes because it’s so hot! But nevertheless: I LOVE FALL FASHION!!! I couldn’t resist to buy a lovely blue blouse and vest. Blue is my favorite colour of all times! Then I decided that I had spend enough money and had a iced coffee with a splash of soy milk. Perfect afternoon off! I enjoy this time even more when it’s so unexpected.
Next week I’ll have to sit out due to my upcoming Italy trip! Can’t wait for it! Neverending veggie salad, pasta, and lean meat. It’s food heaven! And you can have a chilled glass of wine with it anytime of the day.
