I can’t say how happy I am that it’s already Wednesday and there are only two work days left this week. Let’s say it’s one of these weeks… Endless E-Mails, a bossy boss, a heavy workload and it’s still darn hot in my office. But enough now. Let’s move to the topic you’re here for: It’s WIAW!!!
Yesterday was rather fantastic, food-wise at least.
My stomach gives me some trouble recently so I thought I do it a favor and start the day with some soothing oats, topped with ground flaxseed, chia seed and vanilla. I had half of a banana with peanutbutter as a side. Yum Yum and as a nice effect my stomach was set for the day.
I just L*O*V*E*D my lunch. Homemade springrolls with some roasted turkey. I was glad ther was nobody else in my office as I was stuffing my face with it. I loved it so much I was really really upset when it was gone. Recipe to come this week…
Again it was a heavy coffee day. This week I brought some organic vanilla soy milk to work and it tasts amazingly like vanilla milkshake. Unfortunately it contains a teeny tiny bit of beet sugar. I consider it a treat and will go back to plain old boring soy milk when I’m done with it. Won’t be long 😉
Hello everyone my name is Juli and I am an addict……Can’t say it again… it was cottage cheese. Not worth taking another photo. But I had a phantastic pre workout snack as well. Monday I had an incedible coconut life bar (incredible in taste and price!). Never tried it before but I instantly fell in love. When I read the list of ingredients I thought: “Oh well I can do this too!” And I did! YUMMY!!!!!!!! Recipe to come soon (I haven’t got one yet – I just threw together some stuff I found in the kitchen)
We came home late from our respective workouts. My hubby had soccer practice and I mastered a killer abs workout. I did not feel ready to leave after it and so I finished off with a teriffic arms workout using resistance bands and dumbbells. Today abs and arms are quite sore. But I just love this wonderful post-workout ache.
I was glad we had some leftovers from Monday and I didn’t have to spend the whole evening in the kitchen. So we had some stuffed bell pepper with a salad as a side. They got burned a little whilst re-heating but they were delicious anyway.
Looking forward to read through all the other WIAW posts. This is always so much inspiration to me. Blogging about eating is one of the best inventions ever. A little bonding over a shared love. Thanks Jenn for hosting this!
