As I told you on Monday I am on Tosca Reno’s Cooler Plan#1 this week. I slightly changed a few things to fit my current needs e.g. it’s darn hot here and I just can’t bring myself to have oats in the morning. So this week my meals are pretty basic but very yummy though!
I started the day with a deliscious Green Smoothie (yes again) As soon as I find something that I love I tend to eat it all the time. At the moment it’s Green Smoothies and Cottage Cheese. Till very recently I couldn’t imagine to start the day with anything else but Oatmeal but for the moment a Green Smoothie refresher is what I crave in the morning!
SURPRISE!!! It’s Cottage Cheese and some egg whites as a “side” A little boring but I love it and it’s an excellent source of protein!
Oh so yummy Meal#3 was mixed spicy veggies. A praise to food prepping! I love to have something healthy for lunch. It usually gives me a great energy boost for the rest of the workday.
Today I tried this new milk I found at my organic supermarket. Hazelnut Milk sweetened with agave syrup. It tastes amazingly like Nutella! Oh so yummy!!!! I had 3 cups of coffee!
I took advantage of running out of protein today and mixed together a homemade protein shake consisting of lowfat curd, frozen raspberries, chia seeds and water. It was really yummie and absolutely filling. Could have been a little sweeter. Maybe next time with some agave syrup as they recommended to add in the original recipe.
I came home late from my personal training session. It was Power Plate day. I spend too long in the kitchen – as always. But the salad turned out to be absolutely worth it.
So to sum up two days on Cooler#1 I have to say I am a bit hungry yet I feel a lot better than before. Let’s see what the week brings. Now I will spend some time looking through all the other delicious looking pictures of all these amazing WIAW posts. After that I will crave cheese for sure. Never mind. That’s life 😛
