I am so excited… this is the first time I am participating. I am following Jenn’s blog for a while now and I finally decided to jump in and show you what I ate yesterday. Unfortunately yesterday was a little boring food-wise. It was protein day!
I had a very refreshing Green Smoothie for breakfast consisting of banana, pineapple, mango, papaya, spinach and coconut water.
This week I am trying to add more protein to my diet what means I snack on protein mainly. So I had cottage cheese for meal #2
For meal #3 I prepared a lovely salad of mixed greens with a lemon balsamic mustard vinegrette and some roasted chicken breast
Yesterday was quite a hot day and my office is not air-conditioned. So I am not really much into warm food at work at the moment. Protein day was really refreshing since almost everything I ate was cold. On my way back home I found a giant water melon at the supermarket and I am dying to try this new recipe for watermelon and avocado salad. I will have it with the BBQ leftovers for supper tonight. Can’t wait for it!
